Fireball came to us from the warm Texas heat to the bitter cold winter weather in North Dakota in March of 2022. She was due with her first foal late March early April so she stayed in the barn until she foaled and the weather got warmer. We had a hauler set up and ready to go until she started bagging up early. So what do we do? We load up 2 days later and drive straight down to Texas to grab her and straight back taking turns driving throughout the night. Took a couple breaks for her on the way back but that's it. We made it back and two days later out pops a healthy baby! So glad we got her up here in time!
She is green broke had only a few rides under her belt before they decided to breed her. While getting broke he had nothing bad to say about her. Absolutely no buck, very willing, was getting a good handle on her and super smart. Fireball is really easy to get along with and is a total sweetheart. Which makes her fit right in with our remuda of mares!
Fireball’s sire has about $500 in earnings in NCHA and is planning to get more shows under his belt in the near future! She is a granddaughter of the great Smart Little Lena on the top side and a granddaughter of the great Hes A Peptospoonful on the bottom side!!
We are so incredibly excited to add this young mare to our herd and can’t wait to see what she throws us!
