Loretta came to us in the summer of 2018 from right her in North Dakota in foal for 2019. I bought her thinking I was getting my Blue Roan mare like I have always wanted. Well, we color tested her because of her "brown" nose, turns out she is actually a Buckskin Roan! Still excited about that.
When we bought her we knew nothing about her past except that she came from Texas. I did a little research on Facebook and found her previous owner down in Texas. She said she only bought her because she was super skinny and needed some groceries. She did ride her as just a pleasure/trail riding horse. Super excited to find out she is broke to ride! I had the feeling she was broke to ride just how she acted and how good her manners were.
Loretta has a great personality and loves attention and treats! She will follow you around in the pasture for attention. Her confirmation is something to look at, she has a nice petite feminine head, huge hip, nice short back. She throws bone, big hips, and little heads onto her babies. Foals are exceptionally easy to train and they want to please and learn. Her babies are SUPER catty and quick on their feet! They love to cut just for fun and it’s so cool to watch them move at such a young age!
