We had the pleasure of purchasing Malibu in April of 2026 from Texas. 2 days after arriving we had to have one last winter storm. She was not loving it and got a blanket on for the first time! She didn't know what the heck I was doing but she definitely appreciated it! She is exposed to have her first foal the end of May (previous owner thinks she is open so we will see).

She was previous broke to ride and starting to really excel before she received an injury to her knee that left her broodmare sound only. She has amazing conformation, super long pretty mane, pretty feminine head with big, beautiful doe eyes. She's a little tougher to catch in a big pasture but when she comes to you and in a corral she's a total sweetheart.

Besides being a two-time National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) Open World Champion in 1974 and 1976, MR SAN PEPPY also won the AQHA World Cutting Championship in 1976, becoming the first horse ever to win both titles in the same year. Then, in 1978, he became the first horse to ever win over $l00,000 in open cutting competition. The pinnacle of his career occurred in 1974, when he became the youngest horse ever to be inducted into the NCHA Hall of Fame.
